The Three Veils of Darkness

"He creates you in the wombs of your mothers: creation after creation in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah your Lord. His is the kingdom, none has the right to be worshipped but He….

Professor Keith Moore one of the most famous embryology scientists in the world says: the embryo moves from one developing stage to another inside three veils that were mentioned in the holy Quran as God says: (in three veils of darkness): the three veils of darkness may refer to: 1-The anterior abdominal wall, 2-The uterine wall, 3-The amniochorionic membrane.
It has been proven scientifically that the development of the fetus in the mother's abdomen passes through three veils of darkness which are: the first darkness: is the darkness of the anterior abdominal wall, the second darkness: is the darkness of the uterine wall, the third darkness: is the darkness of the placenta and its membranes.
God be he exalted says: (He creates you in the wombs of your mothers: creation after creation in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah your Lord. His is the kingdom. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turned away?) [Surat Az-Zumar, verse: 6]. The miracle in the previous Quranic verse is the indication of the holy Quran to the process of creating the fetus inside the mother's abdomen as it  passes through three veils of darkness and these hidden processes weren't known by anybody at the time of revelation of Quran and that testifies to the miraculous nature of the holy Quran.

Look at the bones, how we bring them together

Scientists say that embryo is created from anovum fertilized by a sperm, after weeks of growth bones start to be formed and flesh start to cover bones after that. Scientists confirm that it is impossible for flesh to precede bones in the creation process.
Hence Allah Almighty says: (Look at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh"){Sûrat Al-Baqarah II -The Cow -verse259}
Who told our illiterate prophet (Mohamed peace be upon him) this medical fact and what made him to be sure of that scientific information to state it in the Qur’an?
The doer is Allah Almighty the creator of everythingwho says about Himself
(So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators.){Sûrat Al-Mu’minûn-The Believers -verse14}

A Great Smile of a 42 day Fetus

This is a real picture of a fetus that has completed six weeks (42days) and his eye and ear openings have just started to be formed and have started to take his human look. The skin and bone cells have also started to be shaped and he has a great smile. Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, described this image 14 centuries ago in such a precision that puzzles man; Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, says: “If a drop of semen spent in the womb forty two nights, Allah (the Almighty) sends an angel to it who depicts it and creates its ears, eyes, skin, flesh and bones." (Narrated by Imam  Muslim) The question is who told Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, of such precise information? Isn't it Allah?

The Secrets of Creation

Scientists have proven that the human body is almost 70% water as well as other substances …

1.               Scientists have proven that the human body is almost 70% water as well as other substances that are found in soil i.e. man is originally created from clay. Miraculously, the holy Qur’an has revealed such a fact; Allah, the almighty says:
“Man We did create
From a quintessence (of clay)"   Muminun or the Believers: 12
Such a fact raises the question of who could have informed Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, of this.
2.               Upon studying the stages of fetal development, scientists have found that the bones are formed before the flesh. Such a fact was totally unknown at the time of Prophet Mohammad, PBUH. The holy Qur’an, however, has revealed it; Allah, the exalted says:

“Then We made the sperm
Into a clot of congealed blood;
Then of that clot We made
A (fœtus) lump; then We
Made out of that lump
Bones and clothed the bones
With flesh; then We developed
Out of it another creature.
So blessed be God,
The Best to create!”     Muminun or the Believers: 14 (ibid)
All Glory to Allah.

3.               Among the stages of fetal creation is the stage when the fetus appears like a chewed lump of flesh (mudgha). All Glory to Allah who has revealed to us this stage of man creation; Allah says:
“Then We made the sperm
Into a clot of congealed blood;
Then of that clot We made
A (fœtus) lump; then We
Made out of that lump
Bones”                     Muminun or the Believers: 14 (ibid)

The question that needs be answered is who could have revealed such a scientific fact to Prophet Mohammad, PBUH?

4.               Scientists have further discovered that the fetus begins to take shape on the day 42 of its development in the uterus. Fabulously, Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, has revealed such a scientific fact 14 centuries ago for Imam Muslim reported: the messenger of Allah, PBUH, said: “If forty-two nights have passed over the embryo, Allah sends an angel to it, who shapes it”. All Glory to Allah.

5.               The placenta feeds the fetus with air, food, and water, doesn’t allow the passage of any harmful materials, and produces hormones that regulate the fetus temperature. Scientists add that the placenta looks after the fetus in a manner that is much better than any intensive care units. Accordingly, Allah, the Almighty, says:
“Then We placed him
As (a drop of) sperm
In a place of rest,
Firmly fixed”          Muminun or the Believers: 13  (ibid)
All Glory to Allah.
6.               Upon studying the stages of fetal development, scientists have discovered that at its earliest shaping stages, the fetus is a group of cells that are attached to the uterus wall and are fed from it. All Glory to Allah who has revealed this in the holy Qur’an when describing this stage (the stage of alaqa, a leech-like clot) Allah says:
“It is He Who has
Created you from dust,
Then from a sperm-drop,
Then from a leech-like clot”   Ghafer or the Believer: 67 (ibid)
Once again, the question that should be answered is who could have revealed such a scientific fact to Prophet Mohammad, PBUH?

7.               Scientists have proven that the semen determines the fetal gender, male or female. All Glory to Allah who has revealed this fact in the holy Qur’an:
“That He did create
In pairs,—male and female
From a seed when lodged
(In its place)”           Najm or the Star: 45-46 (ibid)
The question that needs be answered is who could have revealed to Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, that the semen is what determines the fetal gender?

One centimeter is the length of a fetus

It is a real photo of a fetus in the fifth week, its length is one centimeter ….

It is a real photo of a fetus in the fifth week, its length is one centimeter, and despite its size many details are clearly seen. This fetus contains thousands of millions of cells and all of these cells came from one ovum and one sperm controlled by an accurate program during the entire life of the baby. Glory to Allah Almighty who perfected all of His creations as He Almighty says: (Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists),* Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood)* Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous,* Who has taught (the writing) by the pen* Has taught man that which he knew not.){Sûrat Al-‘Alaq - The Clot –verse 1-5}

Scientists argue that fetus development in the mother’s womb passes through three veils of darkness: first, abdominal wall darkness; second, uterus wall darkness; and third, Placenta darkness through its membranes; Allah says:
He makes you,
In the wombs
Of your mothers,
In stages, one after another,
In three veils of darkness.”        Zumar or the Crowds: 6
Such hidden stages were completely and absolutely unknown at the time of Qur’anic revelations and this is sufficient evidence that Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, speaks but the truth.

Fetus Learns

According to a recent scientific study, 2013, it has been found that new-born babies learn while still in their mothers’ womb

According to a recent scientific study, 2013, it has been found that new-born babies learn while still in their mothers’ womb, six months prior to birth. It has been found that three-day babies could distinguish the voice of their mothers, fathers, and the people they used to hear their voices before being born and they are born as if they know these voices. Babies have further shown quiet and satisfaction upon hearing the voices they were used to. The study states that children could distinguish the language of their parents for a five-day baby has shown relief when hearing the language of his parents while showing annoyance when hearing a strange language from that of the people around him. Scientists are amazed by this phenomenon and how fetuses could analyze and distinguish voices and interact with them at such an early age. The holy Qur’an, however, connects the creation of the fetus from a clot of congealed blood to teaching them what they don’t know and it’s a miraculous thing that that the holy Qur’an reveals that man starts learning as early as being a fetus; Allah, the almighty says in the holy Qur’an:
“Proclaim! (or Read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, who created* Created man, out of
a (mere) clot of congealed blood:* Proclaim! and thy Lord is Most Bountiful,* He Who taught
(The use of) the Pen* Taught man that which he knew not.”  Alaq: 96: 1-5                                          All glory to Allah!

Miracle of sleeping

Researchers say that taking 40 winks in the middle of the day may reduce ……

Researchers say that taking 40 winks in the middle of the day may reduce the risk of death from heart disease, particularly in young healthy men and also reduce stress
Lead researcher Dr Dimitrios Trichopoulos, from the Harvard School of Public Health, said: "In countries where mortality from coronary diseases is low, siesta is quite prevalent.”
They assure that having a nap in the middle of the day may help people to unwind, relax and to strengthen their memory.
Physicians say that the body seems to be designed for that napping, as most people’s bodies naturally become more tired in the afternoon, about 8 hours
After wake up
Glory to Allah Almighty who says about phenomenon of sleep :( And among His Signs is the sleep that you take by night and by day, and your seeking of His Bounty. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who listen.){ (Sûrat Ar-Rûm- The Romans-verse 23} .

Are those who know equal to those who know not?

A new research demonstrates benefits of learning to the physical and psychological health of human let us read…….

A new research established by the institute of education in university of London on the Wider Benefits of Learning (WBL) by covering different sides such as physical, psychological, community participation and citizenship, they found a magnificent effect of learning on these sides.
Professor John Bynner in Faculty of Policy and Society at the Institute of Education said that the researchers had found a direct effect of learning on educated people concerning their health, parenting and also their willingness to committing crimes
Researchers say that education is a positive force for people’s health as for
National levels of health
Learning affects health
Researchers found that Children’s diet is affected by their parents’ education and knowledge of the importance of nutrition. In turn, their educational success is directly affected by whether they receive enough vitamins and minerals in their food. Also a US study found that 12 % of the decrease in the probability of low birth weight between the 1940s and the 1980s and 20 % of the decrease in the probability of premature birth could be attributed to increased maternal education
.
Benefits of learning is also extends to some diseases such as cancer as the research suggests that better-educated women are more likely to protect their health with regular cervical screening tests. According to the research the researchers estimate that between 61 and 213 cancers can be prevented for every 100,000 women who quit smoking because of their additional education.
The International research has consistently found that people with higher levels of education live longer
One study found that life expectancy in the Netherlands for men with the lowest level of education is 5.0 years less than for men with a university education. For Dutch women the difference is 2.6 years. For people in the US aged 35 in 1960, one more year of education increased life expectancy
By as much as 1.7 years. In Sweden, a study based on the national census demonstrated that 64-year old men with a doctorate had a lower mortality rate than those with a master’s degree. The masters’ graduates, in turn, had greater longevity than holders of bachelor’s degrees.
Health and committing crimes
Benefits of education are not limited to health but it extends to affect level of crime in the society as the research say that people with no qualifications are more likely to be persistent offenders. Particularly for men, the better qualified they are, the less likely they are to commit crimes
.
Parenting and education
The Millennium Cohort Study, which is tracking more than 15,000 children born in2000 and 2001, shows that the sons and daughters of graduates were 12months ahead of those with the least-educated parents. A second ‘school readiness’ assessment measuring understanding of colors, letters,
Numbers, sizes and shapes that was given to more than 11,500 three-year-olds found an even wider gap “13 months” between the two groups.
Researchers say that People who do well at school and who obtain higher qualifications tend to have children who do the same
Lifelong learning is good for us
Many other studies stress on the importance of Lifelong learning which is the continued educational experience that utilizes non-credit academic courses educational travel and community service. These studies identified many benefits gained by the lifelong learning as the Lifelong learning opens the mind, helps fully develop natural abilities, increases wisdom, helps in making new friends and establish valuable relationships and it leads to an enriching life of self-fulfillment.
Dear beloved, when we contemplate at the message of Islam we find that Allah Almighty differentiates between people who have knowledge and who don’t have knowledge as He Almighty says: (Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember)
{Sûrat Az-Zumar - The Groups -verse9}, this verse was descended at a time and in a place where people were sinking in seas of illiteracy and underdevelopment.
In another verse Allah Almighty urges people to learn as He Almighty says to prophet Mohamed peace be up on him and to all humanity: (Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists)) { Sûrat Al-‘Alaq - The Clot –verse1}.

Changing what is inside us

Psychologists say that if you want to make a change at anything around you then you have to change your way of looking to that thing. They assure that as long as you see things in the same way nothing will change and you will get the same results. Also Neuro-linguistic programming scientists confirm that success in life depends on your beliefs and people can achieve success if they changed their views toward success
.
Glory to Allah!!! He Almighty told us this psychology fact more than 1400 years ago by saying: (Verily! Allah will not change the good condition of a people as long as they do not change their state of goodness themselves){ Sûrat Ar-Ra‘d - The Thunder -verse11}

So let man see from what he is created

The above photo for a sperm that penetrates the ovum, scientists say ……

The above photo for a sperm that penetrates the ovum, scientists say that large number of sperms is surrounding the ovum but only one sperm can penetrate it to form the Nutfah (mixing of sperm and ovum) .
Isn’t exactly what Allah Almighty told us in the Qur’an about creation of human as He Almighty says: (Does not man see that we have created him from Nutfah (mixed male and female discharge semen drops). Yet behold! He (stands forth) as an open opponent.){ Sûrat Yâ-Sîn-verse77}
We have to contemplate in that verse as Allah Almighty says (from Nutfah) which means only one Nutfah not more than one as He Almighty used the singularity not plurality. Also that photo is enlarged 500 times as the Nutfah is not seen by naked eye, who told prophet Mohamed peace be upon him this scientific fact  more than1400 years ago
He is Allah Almighty the creator of everything who says about Himself: (Such is Allah, your Lord! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Creator of all things. So worship Him (Alone), and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things.){ Sûrat Al-An’âm- The Cattle -verse102}

Adopted sons must be called by their father’s name

Adoption of orphan children became a phenomenon in recent days, but how did the religion of Islam treat problems of adoption 1400 years ago before it happens? Let us read………….

Allah Almighty says in the holy Qur’an: (nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons. That is but your saying with your mouths. But Allah says the truth, and He guides to the Right Way* Call them (adopted sons) by the names of their fathers, that is more just with Allah){ Sûrat Al-Ahzâb -The Confederates – verse4-5}, in this verse Allah Almighty orders us to call the adopted sons by their real father’s name not by the name of the new father.
What is adoption?
In western countries as a definition, adoption is the legal process by which a person becomes a lawful member of a family different from their birth family.  Once a final order of adoption has been ruled by a court of law, the adoptive parents gain the same rights and responsibilities as parents whose children are born to them; subsequently, an adopted child gains the same rights as birth children in regard to inheritance, child support, and other legal matters.
In most U.S. jurisdictions, at the time the adoption is finalized, the adopted child's name is legally changed, and the court orders the issuance of a new, amended birth certificate.
But what is incest?
Incest may be defined as any sexual activity between closely related persons, normally within the immediate family, which is either illegal or socially taboo.

Indeed, sexual relations between the closely related persons is not only against religions abut also is against the pure nature.
Depending on the culture and jurisdiction, the type of sexual activity and the nature of the relationship between persons that constitutes a breach of law or social taboo varies. Some societies consider it to include “blood relatives”, whereas others further include those related by adoption or marriage. Others also may consider it to include only those who live in the same household, or who belong to the same clan or lineage.

Associated risks of incest
Studies confirmed that incest produce children with special needs. Some geneticists put the risk of producing a disabled child as high as 50%, but this is hotly debated. Opponents of the incest ban also argue there are double standards, noting that no-one would ban those with hereditary diseases from reproducing. So that, by law many European countries make the intra- families is illegal, but Sweden is the only country in Europe which allows marriage between siblings who share a parent.

Disabled children may be a result from practicing incest

Studies say that the significant damage from incest is psychological that is the emotional connection. The surge in nontraditional families increases the risk of disruption. "There are more incidents of incest reported in stepfamilies than in biological families," said observes Lynn Reynolds of the Institute against Social Violence, in Briarcliff Manor, New York.
Adopted children may be particularly vulnerable; no matter how well they are treated by their adoptive families, they frequently struggle with feelings of abandonment by their biological parents.
Does adoption lead to incest?
According to the western way of adoption, the adopted son is called by his or her new father’s name so that the adopted child may meet his or her sister and brother without knowing each other’s so that they can marry each other’s  which is exactly the incest.
In England brother and sister Parted-at-birth but they married
A pair of twins who were adopted by separate families as babies got married without knowing they were brother and sister.
The court annulled the couple's union after they discovered their true relationship. A British lord said that the case showed how important it was for children to be able to find out about their biological parents.
He added “And if you don't know you are biologically related to someone, you may become attracted to them and tragedies like this may occur."
In Germany, a brother may marry his sister
Patrick Stuebing and Susan Karolewski are siblings who were separated by adoption, the siblings met for the first time in 2000 when Patrick tracked down his birth mother and the younger sister he had never met. Now they are married and have four children.

The older two children are suffering from severe physical and mental disabilities and the third child was born with a heart condition. All three were placed in foster care but only one of the four children is a healthy child
In Germany many say that the practice of incest does harm others. Children born as a result of incest are at an increased risk of developing severe mental and physical disabilities
"This couple is not harming anyone. It is discrimination. And besides, we must not forget that every child is so valuable," said Dr Endrik Wilhelm The couple's lawyer.
It is worth to mention that incest in Germany is forbidden by law.
It is seen as a deterrent and helps prevent children being born with the disabilities that result from genetic defects and inbreeding.

Vietnam to end US adoption program
In 2008 The Vietnamese government decided to end an adoption agreement with the US due to corruption.
A report from the US embassy in Hanoi cited cases in which children had allegedly been sold and families pressured to give up their babies.

The report said the embassy had received "credible" accounts that some adoption agencies gave $10,000 for each child that was referred. It also detailed brokers travelling to villages to look for babies. The report was drawn up after US officials noticed a rapid increase in the number of "abandoned" babies offered for adoption.

In Russia
In April 2010, The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it would suspend all adoptions of Russian children by Americans after an adoptive mother in Tennessee sent her 7-year-old son back to Moscow alone.

The mother said the boy’s emotional problems had overwhelmed her. “After giving my best to this child, I am sorry to say that for the safety of my family, friends and myself, I no longer wish to parent this child,” she wrote in a note placed in his knapsack.

Associated risks of adoption
A study published in the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, found that adolescents adopted as infants are twice as likely to have behavioral disorders as those who are not adopted. These behavioral disorders include ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder.
The study followed 514 internationally adopted adolescents, 178 domestically adopted adolescents and 540 non-adopted adolescents, aged 11 to 21
Lead researcher, Margaret A. Keyes, Ph.D., of the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and her colleagues assessed the adolescents using child and parent reports of attention-deficit/hyperactivity, oppositional defiant, conduct, major depressive and separation anxiety disorders, teacher reports of psychological health, in-depth psychological interviews and contact with mental health professionals. Testing was done when the adolescents were on average, 15 years of age.

"We found that most of the adolescents - adopted and non-adopted - were
overwhelmingly psychologically healthy," Keyes says. But Keyes also found what she calls "an adoption effect." Approximately seven out of
every 100 non-adopted teens had a diagnosis of ADHD, a number that rose to 14 or 15 for adopted youngsters.

Another study was published in the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, and Allied Disciplines to investigate the risk of developing schizophrenia in adoptees and in non-adoptees.

The study base on utilizing data from the Danish Civil Registration System, researchers established a population of 1.06 million persons resident in Denmark before the age of 15, whose legal mother lived in Denmark at the child's birth. Inter-country adoptees were identified as children born abroad.
As a result, researchers found that Inter-country adoptees had an increased relative risk of developing schizophrenia compared to native Danes. The increased risk was independent of age at onset and age at, or region of, adoption, and was not attributable to mental illness in a foster parent, the foster parent's age, or to urbanization.
Adoption and incest in Islam
From all of the above we can conclude many pitfalls of adoption and incest according to the western application:
1- Adoptees are named with the name of their new fathers so that they may meet with their relatives and fall in love with them and the brother may marry his sister that causes severe social and medical problems.
2- Overseas adoption may lead to very harmful behavior by gangs who may get poor children and resell them in another country.
3- Risk factor is not limited to adoption but it extends to the dangerous of incest as some people in western countries are calling to legitimate the marriage of relatives in the same family which is totally forbidden in Islam.
4- Resulted children from incest have a high risk to be infected by many diseases such as schizophrenia, disability and many psychological diseases.

Hence we have to understand the miracle in the verse when Allah Almighty ordered the believers 1400 years ago to name the adopted sons by the name of their real fathers as He Almighty says : (Call them (adopted sons) by the names of their fathers, that is more just with Allah){ Sûrat Al-Ahzâb -The Confederates – verse5}.
Also He Almighty strictly prohibits incest as relatives may marry each other’s which happens in western societies. He Almighty says: (Forbidden to you (for marriage) are: your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your foster mother who gave you suck, your foster milk suckling sisters, your wives' mothers, your step daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom you have gone in - but there is no sin on you if you have not gone in them (to marry their daughters), - the wives of your sons who (spring) from your own loins, and two sisters in wedlock at the same time, except for what has already passed; verily, Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.){ Sûrat An-Nisâ’- The Women -verse23}.

Thanks Allah for the blessing of Islam
